At Adam House, we believe in the power of community. Volunteering with us means making a difference in the lives of newcomers while building connections that last a lifetime. We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to step into essential roles and help us continue our mission.

Areas of Need
General volunteer
Be a friendly and welcoming presence at Adam House, committing to regular visits to help with varied tasks such as cleaning, assisting residents, or simply spending time building meaningful relationships while supporting everyday needs.
Once per week
Start-up Kit
packaging
Part of a small team to organize and package start-up kits, supplying residents with kitchen essentials for their new homes.
Once per month
Driver
Help transport residents from Gladstone House to transitional housing, requiring a minivan or large SUV and assistance with moving suitcases, boxes, bags, and occasionally heavier items.
Varying times per month
Snow shovellor
Keep driveways and backyard paths clear of snow during mornings and evenings, with shovels provided on site.
On a needs basis (when it snows!)
